Traditionally, quality audio cable has the writing on its outer
insulation printed in the direction of its flow.
Well, duh.
I mean, we all know cables have capacitance.
Traditionally, quality capacitors have little arrows pointing
toward the negative lead or end. (All those that don't are
just junk.)
Anyone who's done it knows that if you wire the capacitor
in backward, it explodes in a gooey, nasty mess requiring
an EPA HazMat team to clean it up (which is especially
annoying if it happens in another country; the paperwork
just to request US/EPA aid is a foot thick, nevermind the
bribes to both country's politicians).
So if you plug your guitar cable in backward, it may well
explode. If it does, hope it kills you. Otherwise you'll
spend the rest of your natural born days in debtors' prison
paying for the paperwork and cleanup- and so will your
offspring, unto the fourth generation.
Therefore quality guitar cables musty have arrows indicating
polarity and flow.

Huh? Indeed. You think Miles is Mulay? Think again.
but the Mule butt...
I don't believe it's a stolen cut and paste, either. Meils is pretty
good at coming up with his own stuff, and giving attributions if he
doesn't. Don't be confusing one of AGA's founders with the one who's
done the most to turn it into a cesspool.
