Some people here know how to wire the tube socket where a person can
use tube or ss. It also serves as a backup in case the rec tube dies
and saves the other parts. Maybe one of them will chip in with some
info...
I'd also be interested...
Don't forget that the bias will be a bit hotter with the SS rectifier,
so use that to set bias.
