As it is with Global Warming, Health, and other issues..... here is yet another example.

There are 7 parts to this. How many points of misinformation, bad information, good information,
and BULL SHIT can you find in each of the 7 parts of advice in the first of two Gibson's
infomercials from their EXPERTS!!!!!!!!!!!!

I only watched #1...

He talks about not taking yuor gutiar shop to a store to be
restrung... and then taking off all the strings or not. I was
wondering what he was doing thereading all the strings back and forth,
but I see now he was preloading the tailpiece.

I take off all the strings a couple of times per year when I condition
the fretboard, but do them one at a time mostly.

I don';t know what Gorgamite is, though, but it seems he conditions
the fretboard everyday, which might be excessive if it contains alot
of lemon oil or if he uses it on ebony FB's.

Is that what you are talking about? Overconditioning the fretboard,
taking off all the strings?

Greg

much better......

Well Greg, you are on the right track. But there is so much in each part to listen to, and
understand first.

LOL, you already missed a really big screwup to one of their expert methods of doing things. If it
were changed, more than half the work is eliminated!!!!!!!!!!! Common sense is not at work
here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.......................?

Hey Devs.......... Listen up. You may learn something about the EXPERTS you worship and follow
blindly.

However, I'm going to sit back in the cut for a while and see how many guys can nail the BS and
stupid stuff first.

I'll go through it part by part with everyone here in AGA, as we go along. This will keep things
less confusing because of the magnitude of self-serving crap that can appear in any one of the seven
parts.

Then, there is the second series to go through too.

I can't believe these EXPERTS can say so many wrong or unnecessary things to do to a guitar for the
most stupid of reasons.

I wish I were at one of these things, and could be the "cleanup" speaker.

Imagine me doing a "GUY FROM BOSTON" trip on these EXPERT guitar techs.

I can do it on amp techs too in a heartbeat.

Don't egg me on.

I ain't got the time.

However, if someone has a video studio and some guys who think they are experts on guitars, basses,
or amps want to flex their expert shit, I just may go for it.
