I have to admit I started to use the volume pedal too on my
Digitech all the time for the mute. I've been playing
with a swing jazz band and reading a chart,
trying to pay attention and keep up ;) .. I don't have time to

They don't work well with fingerstyle, obviously it's impossible for it to recognise the chord when you are presenting the notes one at a time. ...
