Andy Fuchs makes great amps, and is a class act. A really nice guy to deal with (and a darn good player too). Not all of his amps are Dumble inspired, but he does make those very well. he also has a TW inspired amp, and a variety of his own designs.

I played through a Fuchs 50w ODS at a studio the other day and the clean sounded
pretty nice. OD was a bit high-fidelity, EJ-ish for my ears (I'm not a fan of
violin-like OD)... Not sure if it was "close to a Dumble" since I've never
played through one.
Very articulate, particularly stuff played on the low A/E strings. On my BJ and
Quiana, the bass notes seem to lose their zip and don't project as well. Here
they were very clear even with high gain.
I was impressed, just thought if anyone had any experience with any of the Fuchs
amps.
