Gee Tony, just because you left town, you don't have to get
snobby about it. Sheeks, I'm not all that fond of this town ever
since I came to live here. I used to love visiting during the
Christmas holidays though. Most of the family lives here, it's the
festive season and the weather is usually nice and at the time,
and life was good for the most part. So, I can't blame anyone
for not wanting to live here.

However, anywhere you go on earth is natural disaster prone.
At least here, one has up to a week's notice unlike a tornado
alley where you're lucky to get a few seconds warning if any.
And gee, for someone who likes guns, if you lived here, you'd
most likely get a chance to shoot someone in self defense or
stop a robbery if that is your thing.

Kinda hard to do that, when the officials in there at the time won't
allow you to come in to protect your stuff, don't allow the Federal
Government in to hand out supplies, don't allow you to buy ammo for your
weapons, confiscate weapons for no reason, tell you that they are
patrolling the neighborhoods with police and National Guard and you don't
see a single cop or uniform in your neighborhood over a 48 hour period.
AFAIC, EVERY public official OUT OF LOUISIANA LIED TO ME AND EVERYONE
ELSE ABOUT HOW SAFE WE OR OUR BELONGINGS WERE!!!!! They did not live up
to their duties, responsibilities, or even common human decency. I used
to say that the police are not there to protect or serve, because legally
they have to do neither. That is a truth, thanks to the courts. I used
to say that they were only there to pick up the pieces because you only
called a cop as a crime is being committed or after one has already been
committed. But apparently they don't even have to do that. I called the
cops after about $10,000 worth of tools, electronics, and appliances to
report them stolen, and they said they weren't doing that. I don't know
if you read the posts I wrote shortly after Katrina, but it's all
described there.

So, you're still a rebubbacon? I certainly hope you are one of the
real sensible conservatives like Goldwater conservatives who
want a smaller government, fiscal responsibility, accountability
and government out of our private lives. It would be good to know
that you are not just another dupe of Duhbya dead-ender completely
endorsing his (Cheney the ***'s) screwball policies of imperialism,
an above the law executive, corporate monopolistic tyranny, law
and order without justice and no taxes for the "have mores".
The Duhbya admistration is *way out* there even past
fascism and nazism. It's as if they want Duhbya as the monarch
of the entire planet. Sheeks!

Actually both parties suck and are both sponsored by the same
powers at be who own most of the mineral rights of the
country, who own the banks and most shares in major corporations.
The more we the people argue back and forth about right
and left issues, the more we are the manipulated chumps
who are divided and therefore conquered as planned.

Believe it or not, but I actually agree with *some* conservative
ideals, but also some liberal ones. But the problem I have with
a lot of conservatives is their stinkin' belligerent, arrogant,
selfish, uncomprimising attitude, not to mention their obstinate
partisanship and knee-jerk parroting of liberal bashing and
automatic swallowing of right wing kook propaganda without
question among all of the other divisiveness they are conditioned
to ape without bothering to think. IOW, too many intellectually
lazy assholes and hypocrites who are not at all patriotic but
know how to spout the keywords and phrases to give the
impression that they are super patriots. Fortunately, more
and more folks are seeing through those traitors to the
Constitution and their other pretenses.


No, I'm not a Bush Defender by far ... I think he is WAAAAAAAAYYYY
OFFFFFFFF when it comes to immigration, enforcing existing immigration
laws, etc. I never thought nor did I every say he was the second coming
or anything like it. It's just that when I look at the Democrat Party in
its current form and their current stances and ideals ... it just really
scares me and I have no faith in their ability to accomplish anything
worthwhile or important, nor do I feel they are looking out for the
Constitution or my safety.
Here we are with all kinds of things that need to be done like
ensuring the safety of our existing legal citizens, and they are trying
to pass laws to protect and give rights to terrorists, non citizens
outside of the US and illegal immigrants. Here we are with inflation and
fuel costs causing prices to go up more than 10% in the past year or two,
with the average pay increase is between 3 and 4 %. And what is the
current Democrat (Dumber'n'crap, Demodrat, Democrap, jackass party ...
whatever you want to call them) controlled House or Senate doing? They
are writing letters lying and inventing a controversy where there is
none, trying to persuade the President of a Communications firm to limit
the free speech of someone who has a view differnet from their own. Talk
about censorship and narrowmindedness from a party who claims to be the
opposite. The party that claims to want a freedom of choice, not
allowing parents the choice of which school to have their tax dollars and
children attend.
It is my firm belief that the Democrats don't really have a firm stance
on any subject, they just take the opposite of whatever stance the
Republicans declare. I am just extremely disappointed that the party of
JFK has lost their way. once again. Don't forget that Democrats are the
ones responsible for the inception of the KKK, and for most of the hate
crimes of the past.
It's too bad that there are only 2 parties that we have a chance in
electing to any public office (with the exception of Joe Lieberman) ...
for the past 20 years there has only been a lesser of 2 evils and no real
choice. Whatever happened to the successes of the business world
stepping up to the duty of becoming President? Now, it's the business
rejects and a bunch of shady lawyers perpetuating a money machine to make
them and their friends and family rich.
Having said that, I am absolutely surprised that anyone would think
that the Democrats were the lesser of those two evils when most of what
they do costs me more of my money and whittles away at my rights as a
citizen of the greatest country on earth, just to give special rights and
priveleges to people who either don't belong in this country or to those
who aren't in this country, or to people who want to destroy this
country. It makes absolutely no sense to me at all why anyone would vote
for a Democrat. How can we expect them to stand up to a rogue world
power or terrorists, if they are too afraid to go against anything Move
On.Org is for?
