William Shockley, who was a co-inventor of the transistor.

You probably heard someone say the phrase "Schottky diode" and
fabricated the whole thing about the diode, attributing it incorrectly
to Schottky. That would be Walter Hermann Schottky, who would not have
seen anything superior in your own white IQ. BTW, Schottky did not
invent the Schottky diode either.

The PN (diode) junction was invented by Russell Ohl. "Ohl" sounds
different enough that maybe it won't confuse you.

But imagine if Wm Schockley (different guy, Chief) had a chance
encounter with you, Chief Billy/Zorron. He may have reversed his odd
theory based on your own contribution to the IQ pool, which dips
precariously close to bovine. He may have formulated a theory that
people of your genetic strain should just go graze somewhere, chew
some cud, blast some methane, and leave all the complicated stuff
alone.
