You guys obviously take this stuff more seriously than me! That is for sure!!

Let's get a few things straight here, eh?

First, I have never, ever said I'm a Journ. Professor!! I've never even
suggested it!

However, I most certainly DO work in the media--for almost 30 years. (TV &
Radio) So, when I comment on the media, I do have at least a clue, as to what
I'm talking about. Much more than anyone else here, anyway!

As for this latest go-round....I'm not going to waste what little time I do have
to post here, by posting links to sources I *did* cite the first times I posted
many of those "claims" in the past. I'm not going to wast my time doing so
again. You want to find the stories, you google it. I log onto this group for
a few minutes each day, as I have my lunch. That's all the time I have to
"play" here with you all. Sorry.

When you talk about the media, that's a topic that's near and dear to my heart.
I do know a lot about it--inside stuff most people have no clue about. How do I
post sources to some of that? For example, I said that the media does get
pressure to show GWB in a favorable light. This was especially true in the run
up to war and around the '04 election. How do I know? Because a friend of mine
*quit* his job at a local station *because* that word came down from the company
that owns the station. That's just me saying so....which I know to be true.
Yet, how do I prove that to you? Get the point?? Sure, you'd just have to take
my word for it....but this is a discussion people! That's all. I don't care if
you don't believe me. I know what I'm saying is true. But you don't....I
understand that.

Besides, this is supposed to be casual discussion. I'm putting forth ideas for
discussion....no more. Geez....lighten up!

You guys can think I'm some conspiracy nut if you like. It doesn't bother me at
all. I am who I am and I'm OK with that. I couldn't care less what you all
think of me.

The truth is, if you really knew me, you might not think I'm so crazy. You
might not agree with everything I say, but then, that's the way the world is. I
speak my mind here, because I'm free to do so--just like you. I will agree
that there are occasions where my postings seem somewhat disjointed. That's
likely because I seldom have more than a few minutes to write. My lunch time is
frequently interrupted, too. Let's see YOU write consistantly brilliant
messages under those conditions! (grin) I suppose I should just stop....as I
did for many weeks. It's just that when the repug CRAP gets too deep again, I
felt I had to jump in. Eh....if trying to open people's eyes is that annoying,
then I'll stop.

But, when this stuff starts to come to light, you'll have to excuse me when I
say "I told you so!" I did tell you so.

I don't typically attack people personally, either. I may not agree with them,
but I stop before I get to name calling, etc. That's just kid stuff. Period.

That's the thing that finally did it for me, regarding Lord Valve. It didn't
bother me that we differed so greatly on our opinions. That's fine. I'm OK to
not agree with someone's political views, and still do business with the
person. That too is the way the world is. But....when he started with the
personal attacks, name calling, etc., my view changed. Personal attacks are
over the line.

I can take it when someone tells me my opinion is crap. No problem. But, call
me a fucktard, just because your opinion differs from mine, and that's a
different story. That's being a playground bully. I don't associate with such
people.

Is Willie going to miss my business? Not likely. But, word does tend to get
around....

(smirk)

OK...lunch time is over.....back to work.

Damn, that is bizarre. Not just that he's a conspiracy-addict, that's bad
enough, but that his ability to use the language is so limited. You would
expect that a journalist would be good enough at research and sifting out
bull*** to see through this moonbat stuff he apparently enjoys so much, and
be able to write past a high-school level, but he seems handicapped in both
regards.

It's a bit surprising that one of his victims or their defrauded
parents haven't whipped his ass and stuffed him into a dumpster.

Most of his victims won't realize their status until long after they've
graduated. That's why these low-budget propagandists gravitate towards
education, they do better when the people they're preaching to are too
inexperienced to know they are being fed bull***. On the other hand ol'
Mike might be a bit of a laughing-stock among the students, that slightly
crazy prof who is always going on about his crackpot conspiracy theories,
not all kids are dumb.
