Re: Early 60's Fender Super Reverb Head

I later sold the bounced check to the HRock cafe for 10X value.

But then, why sell that bounced check to the HR cafe?

Only because he was such an ***. Maybe I was one too, but back then
he just pissed me off. He still is a big star, the band ultra big,
and he just wanted to be a 'star', forgetting the years he spent around
Boston, playing clubs, starving, where at the time, and now, was just
re-hashing the old hits (which still sell). Maybe he was tired of being
2nd 'fiddle' to the 'star' player in the band. Who knows. Later in life,
we both had a laugh over the check, and ASAIK, HRCafe just filed it.

I did ask him 1st before I did anything with it..he said "..sure.."

HRCafe has a TON of them, everyone from the Beatles and Stones, and more
then one from this band. Bad contracts, stiffed hotel bills, you name
it. Premier Talent (or what was left of them) tried to sue HRCafe over
the collection of busted contracts they had... Ya just gotta laugh.

...there should someday be a book.

Best acts pay cash. FZ, U2, Yes, Mott, and more, always paid me
in cold cash, only asking for receipts for customs. MR of Genesis
pulled out a roll of bills that could be used to stuff his pants to
buy a GMT amp from me. No ??s asked with cold cash. AH, the old days.
