it is probably the crappy pot they put in the valve jr. I put a good pot in
mine and dont notice it still making sound with the volume all the way down.
But then again I usually leave the volume dimed on my valve jr and turn the
guitar pot down to get clean tones

With the volume on the Valve Jr. turned all the way down, I can still
hear
some sound coming through to the cabinet I usually hook this thing up
to.
It's very quiet, but it is the guitar... like I said, I'd not heard this
before.
Could this be a symptom of damage to the head, or is it normal behavior
this amp?
My valve jr. does the same thing. I guess it's normal.
