Let's all shed a tear for poor misunderstood Marc.

Boo Hoo.

Maybe somebody should keep track of this cycle Marc goes through and number
the various stages. It appears he's currently in the "I'm going to rise
above it and clean up a.g.a." stage (for at least the 10th time), sometimes
followed by the "I'm leaving a.g.a. stage." Of course neither of these ever
last too long and are always followed by the predictable vomiting of
revolting fantasies of sexual violence stage, leading to the usual "It was
humor too sophisticated for you to understand" stage. Then comes the
semi-annual listing of all his accomplishments stage (champion boxer,
fighter pilot, stockbroker, world's greatest non-gigging non-recording
musician/composer) which is usually seen at about the same time as the "I
have Geopolitical insights that you wage slaves can't grasp" stage. Oops, I
forgot the "Let me explain how all this got started, I've always stood up to
bullies" etc. stage.

Sadly there is one stage that is rarely if ever seen, namely Marc behaving
like a well-adjusted person instead of someone suffering from Narcissistic
Personality Disorder, i.e.:

--grandiose sense of self-importance
--preoccupied with fantasies of success, power, brilliance, sexual prowess
--believes he is special and advanced and can only be understood by other
such people
--need for admiration
--strong sense of entitlement
--manipulates and exploits others to achieve his own ends
--lacks empathy
--envious or believes others are envious of him
--arrogant affect.

Yup, that's the Mulay we've all seen for the past half-decade.

So make a note on your calendars, Marc says from now on he'll either ignore
insults or respond with one word. If that lasts two weeks it will be
astonishing, if it lasts a month somebody needs to contact Guinness about
getting it in the record book, if it's permanent--well, we all know it won't
be permanent, don't we.
