Right on. I honestly wonder what it would take to get most typing into
AGA to make an effort to avoid their nightmarish spiral of
hurling attempted personal insults at the exact same people, and vice
versa. I don't even mind the political drivel. It's the sheer boredom
of seeing the exact same people never type an on topic or gear-related
sentence, let alone a waste-of-effort political post,
in deference to re-typing the exact same "lol's", and "meds", plus
other various and sundry hoplessly stale bait attempts destined to
fail at their attempt, over and over and over again. I've typed about
my amps, my gear, posted my playing, a how-to treatise on modes, and
yes, my fair share of anti-war / anti-neocon, anti-GWB posts. Over the
past few years, I've engaged in my fair share of flame-wars, usually
with an eye toward amusement and originality. The response from these
detractors? They type and re-type the exact same
stale stuff, apparently hoping that via sheer repitition, someone who
could not possibly care less might come to think better of them
via thinking less of me- the sheer insanity is laughable, right up to
the point that on the dullness scale, it's all somewhere between
watching astroturf grow and most business presentations.

From now on, if I respond at all to these poor guys, it'll once and
with one word; Stale.

We can all do better! mvm
