I have an older (91) Mesa Maverick which used EL-84's. One of the best amps
I've ever owned, and I have a few cool ones. Anyway, I have used it through
a 10" speaker and know what you mean to some extent, when using a 12"
..............well it really comes alive. For grins, plug it into a single
12?

Hi,solution
Does anyone know if it's possbile to contact Mesa Boogie via e-mail?
Also, I was wondering if anyone has had experience with various tubes in
Boogie amps. I have the Express 5:25 and while I love the amp I'd like to
tame the highs a tad. I noticed that if I play aggressively the treble can
get a little spikey. I've tried reducing the treble but then I lose some
clarity on the bass side. I'm mostly a clean blues player. I have tried
using a
second 10" speaker which helps but I'd first like a more "portable"
like a tube change perhaps.
Thanks,
Dan
