Hello I have a old Peavey amp. My problem is this when playing on it it
will lose the volume it will go down real low then come back up after a
while. I have took it apart and tried testing some resistors and diodes
but I am not sure what it is. Does anyone have and idea what it could
be?.
Loose connectors/ connections - tighten them up.
Cracks in solder connections or broken leads just touching - resolder.
Switching jacks in effects loop (if it has one) need cleaning - burnish contacts.
