Just going over the pond.
However I find Elvis Kabong's reply much more worthy
and his valid info and his story and goings on in his historic town better then the OP.
Elvis Kabong hang in there.

Sorry to confuse, the location question was meant for the OP. Just wondered what country he was shuffling to.
As for myself, things are proceding as best as can be expected. I'm still looking for a source (other than Ebayou) of Silvertone amp knobs. Only need three and when I'm done with the one I have now, that's it. No more. More trouble than they're worth for major work. Save the money and buy a functional unit from Ebayleaf.
Then I'll rebuild my 5F1 Champ and the Kay Model 1 I have sitting around.
Cheers
:-)

Things are getting better, but it's still tragic and at a slow pace.
When I hear about all of the money donated from rock stars,
celebrities with Ophrah, other governments, the 2 former president's fund,
gracious individuals, charitable organizations and churches, the fed govt.,
the state govt. along with insurance claims, I'm not seeing any of it and the
half of the city *still* appears to be a ghost town. Yet I've seen a MuckDonalds
go up in a month.
Yet, from what I hear for every one individual who leaves NOLA, four more move
back here. It's really no more unsage here than anywhere else where other forms
of natural disaster can strike and even though I liked living in the north when I was
a child since when it snowed, we got the day off from school and had the whole
day to play in it, but as adult you still have to go into work, so I think I'd prefer
the
south for this time in my life. And even though the humidity is so dense it's like
being in a sauna, I hear that's good for the skin.
I've got several more amp restorations to do so I can sell those amps and
by doing so, lighten my load and use the money for traveling expenses but by
the time I get those done (still doing repairs and developing the boutiques in
the meantime), the city might just be almost back to mostly what it was and I
may want to stay. Just waiting to see what's gonna happen while waiting for
any other doors to open in almost any other city in the south.
So John, how are your projects progressing?

The American transformer part number is 041752
The export transformer part number is 041753
If you have or can get the 041753 transformer,
the violet wire goes to CP3
Black/Red wire to CP5
Black/Green wire to CP7
Black/Yellow wire to CP8
White wire to CP9
White/Black wire to CP4
Black wire to CP10
Good luck
