For how long?

If the USA is the only country to actively comply to the current trend in saving the
earth, what's
to save for the effort.

Incandescent light bulb bans are now arriving as some kind of to save the earth from
global
warming. Yet, 10-20% of your electric bill is from phantom load. What next. Ban
toilet paper to
save trees?

How about, let's RECYCLE our toilet paper to save the earth from global warming.

How about, let's ban 24 hour restaurants, truck stops, and fast food establishments
from cooking
food 24 hours around the clock.

How about, a ban on 24 the hour use of transportation to cut down emissions from the
piston engines.

How about, a ban on 24 hour coal burning power plants keeping all those freaking
incandescent light
bulbs on at night at those factories keeping people employed in the USA. Not to
mention, you won't
be able to charge up the batteries in your electric car to go to work in the morning
either

Does this sound like some kind of misguided idiocy to you?

Well!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Figure it out.

Well Rich, do you think you could figure out the following statements?:

If we [humans] chop down ALL of the trees and pollute the oceans to the
point it kills off all of the plankton, where are we going to get our oxygen
supply?

Hasn't happened.

It's not a reality.

...what's your plan for when the planet runs out of fossil fuel?

Hasn't happened.

It's not a reality.

The plan is, you deal with it.

You find something else for the gas or oil tank.

Or, you go sub particle.

There's time to figure it out between now, and then.

But holding a global "monkey trail" on global warming in the major media is nothing more than a
replay of that old movie.

I laugh my ass off see Al Gore in the Matt Harrison Brady role today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ROTFLMFAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Watch that old movie, and notice all the parallels on the issue of global warming.

I see YOU and the rest of the AGA global warming nut cases parading down the streets in that movie
and holding midnight open air earth rallies.

LMFAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't you think if we as the human race began
to *seriously* invest in research, development and installation of alternative energy
technologies, by the time the fossil fuel is completely depleted, don't you think
those energy sources
would be readily developed to apply as a substitute.

FREAKING GET YOUR DUCKS IN A ROW, on conserving what is already in front of you damn it.

Bans on this and that, is NOT going to save the earth!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

GET IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's a freaking joke to talk of incandescent bulbs, when they are a minority light source, and not
even notice phantom load.

THAT, is freaking crazy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's the MONKEY TRIAL

ROTFLMFAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The original MONKEY TRIAL was over WHERE man came from.

NOW, it's over what man THINKS he knows.

Don't you SEE the irony here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The ignorance and arrogance of man is something to behold.

Did you know the price of
oil is arbitrarily priced? Did you also know that once these alternative
developments are in place, after time they pay for themselves plus some?
For example photo-voltaic cells on rooftops in Europe are producing enough
electricity to power the house PLUS an excess to sell back to the utility company.

Fine business. That's over there, not here. The sun doesn't shine over the globe equally. Does
it.

Practical one place. Not so, in another.

Please explain your problem with that alternative. Of course the photo-voltaic
cells were produced by using energy that required burning fossil fuel and the
extraction of natural resources, but after time, the energy required to produce
more photo-voltaic cells will be provided by previous manufactured photo-voltaic
cells and likely more available, less costly to mine, more efficient elemental
resources may be discovered to use in perhaps a less costly method. Of course,
this is conjecture on my part, but it is still a viable possibility as technology
advances.

I have NO PROBLEMS with real world practical working models that pass muster.

I do have a freaking problem with JUNK SCIENCE and POLITICAL BULL ***.

The notion that MAN is the cause of global warming has not passed muster with 100% agreement.

On the issue of, what happens IF splitting atoms will produce a nuclear reaction, there is 100%
agreement NOW!

Years ago, it was not that way. Make it so on MAN causing global warming, and I may go with it.

What you have here today, in the political and public forums, is nothing more than the MONKEY TRIAL,
on global warming.

It's a freaking media circus, as was the original MONKEY TRIAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

It's still a continuance of industry and
advancements
in technology.

Which gave us phantom load too.

We already have machines to build other machines so we
don't have to make machine-making machines by handcrafting them anymore.
It's obviously evolutionary,

SO, you saw the MONKEY TRIAL then.

But, in this global warming MONKEY TRIAL, you're on the prosecution side with all the media parade
with the emotional sky is falling man did it craziness.

so why should we, the human race not pursue any
technology that produces cleaner energy with pollution prevention or pollution cleanup
that should be taken care of by being factored in as part of the equation of
manufacturing?

There are too many wrongs that have not been righted on what is, and what really isn't toxic waste
here in NJ.

There is some real stupid *** that is considered toxic. Like, the earth has no filtering system.

Some of the *** is gotten really carried away. To the point, most all manufacturing has left NJ.

LOL, and this country too!

In what country is the manufacturing base of the USA reside.

It ain't HERE dude.

So, I wouldn't worry about manufacturing in the USA being too much of a problem in the future.

If we are going to pollute and plunder the earth anyway in order to extract
the resources of carbon based fossil fuels, what's wrong with extracting
from the earth the elements needed to construct alternative energy
technologies that will in turn not only produce the energies we need
in certain sectors, but without a resulting polluting after-effect?

Name the alternative energy technologies for which there are practical working full scale models.

Go ahead. List them. Go for it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No freaking politician's bill passing Congress is going to give us by the stroke of the pen, is
going to create any freaking technology. Guys like Al Gore have *** for brains in a science lab.
Get it.

LOL, NJ has a law on the books mandating the use a technology that doesn't exist yet.

WTF is that.

Why would anyone be adamently opposed to the results of cleaner air,
water, less dependence on foreign oil consumption and a boost to the
economy if we convert to green technology?

I don't oppose anything of the sort. What I DO oppose, is your use of the word GREEN, making it
political!!!

What's so wrong with conservation of energy, conservation of natural
resourses, recycling, re-using and not consuming disposable and/or
useless products in order to reduce pollution even if it may not make
any difference in preventing a prediction of an alleged extreme climate change?

LOOK, there are TWO issues here. Don't bundle them together!!!!!!!!

Conservation, good.

Man causing global warming, stick it in your ear!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

BTW, hemp paper would make an excellent substitute for toilet paper instead
of chopping trees. Hemp grows much faster than treees. If humans could only
become sensible enough to get rid of the pot hysteria, maybe some of the
practical uses of that plant could be used like it was in the colonial days.
Read the book, "The Emporer Wears No Clothes."

Or, the ass hole thinks the sun has no hot spells too.

Comment about another book:
I don't remember the author or the title of his book, but I saw his speech on C-SPAN
about 3 years ago and he stated that the entire oil supply on earth is already in the
depletion mode and at the present rate of consumption, including China's new rate
of consumption, by the time all of the oil is completely depleted, alternative energies
will simply not be in place in order to accomodate the world's energy needs.

And, the supporting data came from a crystal ball too??????

I am fu_king tired of PREDICTIONS from this ass hole and that ass hole.

In the 70's there was the ice age coming.

NOW, I'm going to buy this WE CAUSED THE GLOBAL WARMING CRAP?????

Get out of here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What happen when Y2K hit.

LOL, a BIG freaking NOTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He goes on to predict that because of this lack of planning, energy will be so costly
as the supply diminishes, rarely anyone will want to travel long distances and will
most likely use bicycles or horses and horse drawn carriages and only travel short
distances. Corporate farms will cease to exist since they rely on transporting their
produce all around the country and the cost of transport will make it cost-inefficient.
So many people will defy city zoning laws that prohibit working in residential zones
by inisting on working in their homes that city officials won't be able to enforce their
zoning laws.
Home gardening and raising chickens or other livestock in back yards will become
commonplace.

Maybe that simpler lifestyle will be preferred by many of our descendents. I don't know.
But thanks to narrow-minded obstinate mentally perverted zealots with selfish agendas
who refuse to do *anything* about the threat of extreme climate change by minimizing
pollution, by engaging in conservation, recycling, re-using and investing in alternative
energies, there will *certainly not* be any replacement efficient energy source once all
of the fossil fuel has been depleted.

Sorry, I can do some drugs and make up an even better story too. So can the drunk in any bar.

PRESENT THE DATA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
