You should have 430 to 440 Volts on Pin 3 (plate) of the 6V6
and 20 to 30 volts on Pin 8 (cathode).
Is your output Xformer OK?

Why is Pin 1 of the 12AX7 not connected? It shoud have
a 100K res. and couple hundred volts on it.

Yup, until you find the connection for V1 pin 1, you ain't gonna get squat
out of this amp. Look at the layout diagram and look at the schematic.
It's all on there.

Is V1 pin 9 connected? That's another problem with V1. One filament wire
goes to 4&5 (jumpered) and the other goes to 9..

Pin 9 is grounded to the chassis.That must be the problem...where
shoud it come from..pin what or 5y3? Donald
