My main amp has (4) 12AX7's and (4) EL84's. How does that make it
solid state?
Not quite sure why it's a bad thing to have a backup amp either. I just
picked up one of those Crate thingies to leave in my car for emergencies.
Comes with a cute little bag, too.
A LOT of people are doing that lately. Guess I've got to go try one out. I'm
always behind on these things.
