It is considered good form, even on Usenet, to cite your sources.

It is also good form to cite the source when accusing someone
of plagiarism.

While many a College board may disagree, I've found a thin line
between actually "writing" some things, and simply parroting a
conglomeration of commonly known facts; while using one's own
phrasing, or writing "style."

There are several subjects I could write books on, yet I wouldn't
begin to know to whom I should credit many of the things I know.
What I *do* know, is that many of these things I know are derivative,
and only a few truly original.

Note, that I'm not defending MVM in particular; just simply making
a statement about what is, or not, original writing and/or plagiarism.

Wet Sprocket all of a sudden capable writing like an instructional
book? I seriously doubt it.

How's the Ovation Preacher working out?

Love it. Almost makes up for trading away my P-90 LP Special.

And it appears, my old friend that has the LP Special is thrilled
with it. He's normally a Fender player, but seems to have taken to
that Gibson very well.

P90s are great. When I went to a MusicGoRound to try out the Acoustic
150 amp I bought, there was a Les Paul Special hanging on the wall. I
probably should have bought that instead of the amp because it was a
really nice guitar. As best as I can tell, it had P100s, and not P90s
though. I used that to test the amp with.

Those Ovation Preachers seem to show up on ebay on a regular basis. I
looked at the Ovation website recently, and as best as I can tell,
they've left the solid body electric guitar market. Kamen must be
leaving that for Hamer, who they also own by now.
