Seriously, there's no output level trim on the TC?
Doesn't help. The problem is that the signal level
presented to the TC goes up with the channel volumes,
so you'd need to tweak TC input and output if you
adjusted a channel volume to keep optimal signal
level into the TC without clipping.
Sounds like a desirable feature, to me... each channel
has pre- and post-gain settings... all it's lacking is
a master pot... and if the master was before the loop,
you'd still have to balance the channels, right?
