VOX and service

Hi,
As many mfg's know that a schematic can help their equipment to hit the stage again, some do not understand or only believe that "certified" and hence usually expensive repair sites are the only ones able to repair these.
They believe that the customer is willing to pay and wait for ages to get their stuff back.
Is the excuse "only components from a reliable source" the only reason?
"Reliable sources" are not really a problem.
Is it because "training of service technicians" is an excuse?
I know many so called "independent service technicians" who can compete with many "certified" technicians in skill and equipment.
Is it the stock available from the "certified" service centers that is the reason?
Why do we have to wait, and still are waiting, for example a common used double emmitor resistor since December last year?
An opto coupler since 15 months (used another "non reliable source component")
I have to congratulate some mfg's who in case it's needed send you the missing component to make sure the correct ones are used.
They assist you in every way and like to have their equipment in working order as fast and good as possible.
It's their name on the front of it.
But some...
I'm waiting for a few weeks now for a schematic of a VOX AD120VT combo.
It's been asked, again and again and again via different official dealers but nothing helps.
The dealer itself is in problems now with the customer who can hardly believe the story.
If any of you can help me out with a schematic many thanks.
Cheers,
Zilog
.
