my mp3 player is some of the best spent money ever. The quality of the file
is as good as the sampling rate on it. I also loaded all of my cd content
into itunes at a high bitrate and it is just plain convenient to have
something the size of a box of wooden matches with no removable media for
tunes. it never skips, is way small and 1 aaa battery lasts forever. Plus
if i need to carry other files it also acts as a flash drive.
Having said that i have yet to hear a digital music file that captures all
the subtle harmonic content of a good vinyl album, especially if the
recording is of acoustic instruments.
