I doubt this is the case with Celestion speakers, as the dust covers are linen and
semi-transparent (better air-flow). So, very little, if any, HF is propagated by the
dust cover. It just adds mass to the cone. Which should slow it down in theory, but
only by a barely measurable amount.
Good point to mention though, for other makes using solid paper types.
