I have a few Music Man amps.
(I'm not a collector, really I'm not! ;-} )
The MM 50 watt is my fave ! I have 2: a 112 and a head.
These are great amps, you got a steal of a deal.
If you browse eBay you will see that you can easily get
you price back out of it by several times.

There were 4 versions between '82 and '84.
I like the "midshift version E" best, the last version
before MM was bought by Ernie Ball and all the amps
were discontinued. I especially like the Jeckle/Hyde
personality of the channel switching.

The reverb should be easy to fix. Try pulling the footswitch
to isolate anything in the switch itself. The reverb should
then be on all the time. I've seen some reverb tanks where
a spider had spun a web around one of the transducers
causing it to stop working. Replacement tanks are available
or they can be repaired.

The stock speakers in these were an Eminence C12G.
There were also several optional EVs: usually an EVM12S,
but I've also seen them with the more common EVM12L
and even a generic Force 12.
Is there an "OEM" stamp on the back of the speaker ?
(I was a MusicMan dealer/service shop in the '80s)

Unless it's been removed, there is a sticker on the back of
the chassis concealed by the upper rear panel with a date
code: YYMM.

Are you refering to the line output jack ?
A loop would be easy to add in any case as the RD65
and RD100 models have both preamp and power amp loops.
