Is Bruce laughing about Judge Alito?

Remember when Bruce said this?

"Wait for the next debacle
of an appointment and
then see if you feel like
laughing. Harry Reid led
Dumber'nyuh right over a
cliff -- he's fallen, now
let's see if he can get
up."

Since Harry Reid had told Bush "Just don't pick Alito", I don't think
Bruce was right about who went over that cliff, do you?

So he's 0 for 1 so far. Now let's see if he was also wrong about this:

"nominate a far-right
fanatic like the pro-
foetus faction wants,
and the Dems will
filibuster"

Actually, I kind of wish they would try. But Bruce hasn't been right
about anything in years, (if anyone says he HAS been, provide a cite,
please) so I have to doubt it. Remember this?

"Fair enough! Remember,
the "Lars" sock says it'll
be "the nuclear option"
(which assumes he'll
nominate somebody
acceptable to the pro-
foetus faction -- which I
very much doubt, but
we'll see)."

Well, I don't hear conservatives screaming, so I think we can fairly
say Bruce bruised his ass (again) on this one.
