Checked tubesandmore.com. 100 µF @ 350 VDC Sprague Atoms run $5.95.
Generics are $2.43. I know it's a small amount of money amortized over,
say, 10 years, but are the Atoms really worth 245% more than generics?
If so, why?
Thanks,
Mick
I've been using generic ones from Webervst without any problems so far. But
I'm a living room player and don't push any of my equipment real hard. If I
was a working musician, I might think twice and use brand name stuff.
The dollar savings is really rather small. Using a percent is a bit of a
distortion here.
