I HATE spinach! Those old B&W Popeye toons were great though.

When I was a kid, once in a while I had to eat that kind of spinach
that came out of cans. Putting the stuff in my mouth made me want to
puke instantly! Man that stuff was bad!! And spinach freaks like to
say that fresh spinach tastes better, but Popeye was eating it out of
cans.

It's a Weller... I forget what model, soldering station.

But I was using this de soldering tool that I bought at Rat Shack
about 25 years ago. One of those things with a spring loaded piston.
So there's this jolt when it sucks the solder, and that seems to be
what bent the tip. But it has to have been weakened, from whatever.
Probably result of operator error or something.

I hope not. It'll take me another five years to bend another one.

Putting the proper values back in the amp didn't hurt though.

Our True Value store was driven out of business by a local corrupt
plaza owner who wanted a Sears Hardware store instead. But the idiots
running the Sears Hardware store decided that they'd rather be an
appliance store. There's still an Ace on the other side of town
though.
