Re: OK, this Just Came In My Inbox!!!!!

Not once did he hit a full chord after any of his NOISE segments, to
show his guitar was STILL
completely in tune.

But, do I detect a little tuning problem there Steve.

Here, you all can be your own judge on the matter.

First, there is Jimi,... http://timeelect.com/test/mode lthis.mp3

Then, there is Steve,.... http://timeelect.com/things/Gr eg&Rich2.mp3

Dunno....Would be more enlightening to hear more of a song type
thing, than just making weird noises... Nothing wrong with making
noises mind ya, but a whole clips worth gets kinda old...
I like using a trem, but I like to stay semi musical with it.... :/
You can hear a sample of my trem use at :

Try "pitchy.mp3".... It's a good example of just wanking around with
it. And I do
go to chords, so you can hear it's staying in tune fairly well. I'm
using a pitch
thingy FX to molest the tone, so it sometimes gives the effect of going
out of tune.
My geetar is ok though...
But this is with a totally unlocked trem system. But....I don't use a
stock strat trem...I hate em with a passion. I don't care if Jimi was
able to use one, I think they suck... :( I can't get one to stay in
tune
1/3 as well as the one you hear on that clip, which is more of a
psuedo floyd type deal. It's a KMD bridge to be exact. But I don't
lock em like most do. Also, mine has rollers, but I don't seem to be
lacking for tone , or sustain. The strings still ride on saddles, not
the rollers. The rollers are just for the "turn" at the end of the
bridge.
BTW, my geetar is not a strat either...It's an 80's KMD applause GTX-23
wankerlick shredder look geetar...
