I have an older Intuos (GD) wacom with XP.
The support site has 3 different drivers available.
I have tried all three. Two of them work, but the
problem is that everytime it boots, it finds new hardware
(the wacom) and wants to go through the installation
again. And when I installed it, it did say that the installation
had problems.
I shut down the a/v program while I did the install. Since
I have tried all 3 drivers, I don't know what else to try.
I have had this device working on another XP machine
without a problem.
Any ideas??
Thanks!
I plugged my Wacom into an XP computer and it worked perfectly straight out
of the box with no need to install the manufacturers CD.
I know there are features on the disk that would be of use to me, but when
it worked with XP by default, I was just too lazy to install the CD drivers.
