Every magazine test I've ever seen has concluded that the bargain inks are
worth what you pay for them. Premium inks are a different matter and are at
least as good as OEM stuff.

Here in the UK I have had very acceptable results in both Epson and
Cannon printers with replacement cartridges from Cartridge World and
have settled on them as my preferred supplier.
However, I wrote off an expensive Epson printer by using 'Ink Well'
brand carts in it.
The damned ink dried out in the heads and no amount of cleaning, even
eventually removing the heads and steam cleaning could sort the
machine out.
