I have win xp pro sp2 on a Dell 8400 (3.0, 1GB RAM, Radeon x300)

removed all Dell software upon purchase and installed win xp pro sp 2
before installing anything else, they put a LOT of crap onto it when you get
it, trialwares, ISP offers, music players, etc. I prefer to know what is
installed, that I put it there, and if it messes up then I know what and who
did it)
