Before there was a "Shanti Sena" (peace scenes), Rainbow-style... we
were called the Tactical Love Force (T.L.F.).... Force was too strong
a word...
Over the Years, there have been a ONLY A SMALL number of folks who
have ever been "walked out" of a Rainbow Gathering.... usually, this
is after "shanti sena circles/etc." have gone over every vibe
involved....
note: Thai Two Fawn (North Carolina, 1987 - beat on a child....
plus... many, many acts.. not good - [note: i wasn't there when he was
put out]
A number of notable persons AGAIN VERY SMALL NUMBER have been 'citizen
arrested" - by one individual or another within the Gathering -- these
were for serious offenses:
1. Sexual rape of a child -- "Rainbow Bill", 1985 (still in prison)
2. Jose Antonio Ramos -- sexual assault, molestation, 1986 (still in
prison) note: suspected informant, trouble-maker for some 'police
authority" or another.... possibly sent into Rainbow to cause
problems...
these are just two notable ones... there are a number.. not a great
number....
mostly, the LINE IS... SEXUAL ASSAULT, ARMED ROBBERY, RAPE, MURDER,
etc...
and, there are a number of folks AGAIN ONLY A FEW... who have been
"helped" off to mental institutions.... etc...
3. "James in the rain".... has been an interesting case... in 2006, in
Colorado... he was "in Gathering" BUT WITH ESCORT..... as per
agreement (reached by shanti sena circles and james) .. if he does
attend...
Throughout the years, when a 'problem person/s" come along... various
ways have been used to deal with these Persons.... depending on the
"incident"...
One thing is ALL WAYS CLEAR: IF SOMEONE FILES CHARGES ON SOMEONE THEN
SHANTI SENA, etc... support the actions... Support the Victim/s
4. Death Camp: In 2008, Forest Service LEO came to me... inquiring
concerning Death Camp... (it seemed to me, he was checking to see it
was all right for LEOs to "jump" Death Camp.... he wanted to hear what
i had to say... i said:
"Death Camp... oh, yeah, those folks.... odd name... and odd ways...
BUT, GOOD HEARTS"...
[as are all the folks who attend Gatherings -- except for the
"predators"]
the LEOs had a list: Death Camp, Pirates, Early Bird, Phat Kids,
Montana Mudd... wanting to roll over these camps.... my vibe to
this... is BULLSHIT...
*********** DAMM SURE DON'T FORGET the FEDS IN KID VILLAGE SHOOTING
PEOPLE -- Wyoming, JULY 3RD, 2008...
Or, The FIRE (arson by feds suspected) of JULY 3RD, 1994, Wyoming...
when Feds tried to force evacuation...
PAST PRANKSTERS:
Death Camp... etc... all seem, to me, to be PRANKSTERS... (maybe
negative created ones, but pranksters)
In the Past.. "Pranksters" (as i call them) have done things like:
1. Gotten drunk, Stolen cars... brought them home. left at front
gate..
2. robbed folks, (while on duty as shanti sena)...
3. Dosed people with Datura... many people... some still affected...
1977
4. Stolen Cows.. butchered them.... served this meat in main circle
AZ, 1979
5. Bought Cow on IOU... Magic Hat ... and Clean-up New Mexico 1977
having to pay the $700 bill... all the money in the hat...
7. Tommy Angel.. playing "Robbing Hood" with some $6000 of Magic hat
funds.... Montana 2000.... and, he has been back to several
Gatherings...
8. persons have brought guns.... shot at people.... brought alcohol,
got drunk... shot/killled a bear (16 shots) on-Site, Penn, 1986
9. wrecked saloons, threatened to burn down
10. 2006, Colorado Front gate... aside from good people working the
Gate there were also people being robbed, assaulted... finally stopped
on July 6th...
11. not to mention the Gate in Vermont 91.. when some 750 kegs of beer
were openly partied.... until July 5th...
12. ALSO, THE WORST action done on a 4th....
THE FEDS RIDING IN WITH FLAG AND GUNS ON THE 4TH... Utah 2003..
13. And, in years past... during the SILENCE... persons BLOWING THEIR
CONCHES...
14. one person screaming throughout the entire Silence in 1980....
15. And, what about the guy, who walked behind the Circle, with Drum
and Yelling at the Top of his Lungs that he didn't like the Silence..
also in Utah 2003.... OR, a guy punching a BLIND MAN, Texas 1988...
16. In 2009, in New Mexico... before folks even got to the Circle or
the Kids even ready to Parade... people started Ommmming..... went
into to see WHY?........ these folks pointed at their Babylon Watches
that it was 12 noon (totally out to lunch folks) --- NOT Rainbow
NOON... another moment entirely.. so what happened... an odd
Silence... ended.. without the KIDS...
NOte: in all the years since 1977, when we started the Kids' Parade
trip... RARELY HAS THE DAY OF THE 4TH GONE SMOOTH...
17. OR, another time, folks screaming 'BE SILENT".... at the top of
their lungs when some other people were quietly talking in the morning
of the 4th --- "Silence Nazi" ain't just a term... for reals...
18. AIR FORCE ARMED JETS... "MOck AtTack" on Rainbow... Missouri,
1985.. on July 3rd.. AND, JULY 4th...
19. AND, IN SO MANY TIMES IN THE PAST.. having to divert persons from
BURNING THE PEACE POLE..
and/or actually stole it away in 2003, Utah....
Note: there is many folks who object when the Peace Pole is placed in
the (so-called) Center of the Circle.... some vehemently so...
Personally, I have worked with Peace Pole folks, (and these others)...
in helping folks understand the PEACE POLE IN THE CIRCLE IS RESPECT
AND GOOD... like everyone else's trip or belief, etc...
HOWEVER,... the CENTER OF CIRCLE OF GATHERING IS ALL WAYS OPEN.... so
someone can take their turn... stand there and speak, or pray, or
flash their scene... (without someone else's Peace Pole "up their ass"
while they express their vibes)... and then, move on...
the CENTER IS SHARED... at Rainbow Gatherings....
This is Essense...
And, this has been discussed for years and years.... Montana, 2000...
Peace Pole was appropriately placed IN THE CIRCLE... -- on one side,
by Hill, wonderful.. i went, shared my prayers --
THE CENTER OF THE CIRCLE WAS OPEN... AND THIS IS WHERE THE KIDS
PARADED, STOOD AND SANG THEIR SONGS.. wonderfull... This is the Vision
in action...
******* AND, this year... the FEDS.. REMEMBER THE FEDS.... were doing
their ugly shit.... i ain't heard hardly a word about them.... no...
it is all Death Camp kids and the Projects... etc... ****
WHAT HAS BEEN WORSE THAN HAVING SOMEONE SIGN A PERMIT GIVING THE FEDS
PERMISSION TO DO WHAT THEY WANTED TO THE PEOPLE -- and doing their
worst -- ... See California, 2004, 2009, etc..... many other
Gatherings... YET.... Jeff Kline, etc.... are still coming to
Gatherings.. even being praised... etc...
OR, the folks who promote the Idea that Rainbow Gatherings are filled
with "leaders", "elders", AND, these Gatherings have DECISION MAKING
COUNCILS... false hierarchies.... and, these folks, and their
promotions.. in books, and legal papers entered into Court... have
done great harm to the People.... {helped put me in Federal Prison}
Anyone who intends to move anyone out of the Gathering....
If/when there is an "incident"... there must be sufficient cause
And, if sufficient for probable CRIMINAL COMPLAINT.. then file one....
and things move on from there...
into the hands of the Courts... either for the Mother and/or for any
child..
IF NOT... then, please understand.... these folks don't travel all the
way to a Gathering simply to destroy.. they come for attention... and,
obviously, they don't know how to get positive so "they go for what
they know".....
I heard some good Creative prankster work/play was done by shanti sena
involved with these folks... and i advocate that... also, early
morning wake-ups... obviously, fireworks ain't safe.. so no
fireworks...
what is wanted is the minimum of RESPECT... from whoever comes to
Gathering...
CREATIVE TOUGH LOVE... is what is needed.. in my humble opinion...
and it IS WHAT HAS WORKED WITH THE PRANKSTERS OF YESTERDAY... some of
whom are some of our RESPECTED folks --- now --
I point to "CRAZY JOHN" ... (we) started calling him "JOHN BUFFALO" -
1982, Idaho - .... and getting him more involved to help with Shanti
Sena... he loved "Prankster Shit".... he gave up some of the more
"negative active".. toook up the Positive
Folks have been ducktaped to trees, cold water thrown on them... for
days... "in Gatherings".....
even folks who have not done what they were accused of... what
happened to the folks who done it to these innocent persons??? -- MOB
Vibes... not a good trip.
There are many, many issues concerning living with one another that
have to be dealt with....
And, yeah, I agree with Rob.. the "kids" are awesome...
And, they want to be heard.. even "dealt with" if that is what it
takes...
To my mind... Reserve the "heavy energies" for those who commit UGLY
SHIT...
Be CREATIVE TOUGH LOVE toward others who come...
maybe Death Camp folks, etc.. think it is all "Prison rules"... well
there are a lot of very tough characters who live in the :"Rainbow
Yard"..... most of whom best be left alone to be..... so "Prison
Rules" don't work so well "in Gathering"....
And, GAIA vibes... "do what thy wilt, be the whole of the law" ....

If GAIA was the way for folks to be "in Gathering" then... IT WOULD BE
PRISON RULES.. the tough/smart/gang would rule....
Rainbow Gatherings have the simple CREED... RESPECT.... and that goes
for folks from all walks of life... if RESPECT (minimum respect) is
balanced.. then, folks can live with one another... for a couple of
weeks or years...
Death Camp Momma... and the kids she looks after.... ain't quite
hooked up with the Respect so much...
