Just like the russian proverb that sanity posted and i like to quote
goes "choose your enemies carefully as you will become just like them"

there is another tribe where they use ants to close wounds and such,
it has big pinchers and even in death will not let go. if one falls
from a height it will actually bounce from the force of the pinchers
closing. i didn't try to look it up(actually forgot the name of them,
when i got home) so many things to see in the bush and about 20 years
late. from town if you travel west. just 5 miles the temp goes up 20
degrees, took me quite a while to get used to sweating so much. no
such thing as clean water inland. tribes tend to polute thier water
source. some have clean water in the western provinces, but in the
middle and eastern sections RO systems in homes are the rule, if you
have the money. many don't.

A bota outback filter will make your excursions out much healthier.
They are maybe less than 30 bucks . and they ship wirlled wide.

we have folks who are only to take care of the personnel, they handle
all phases of food/water/bed/travel/supplies. sometimes the travel
sucks but.....the rest is ok. they carry the big guns as well a few of
us just take sidearms.we have a whole house system ourselves. ours is
a gro 500d ro system, big enough for us. had to get used to bland
water tho. bottled water usually has things added to it when you buy
it at the store.

"Bland" water???  Is there any other kind?- Hide quoted text -

try it buy some bottled water and then go get some ro water completely
different tastes. on the bottled water they have here it says
minerals added for flavor even tho it was at one time ro water.
really want a bad taste try distilled water! when we first got here
we went to sams club in sau paulo and bought a truck bed full of
bottled water, until we got the ro system. i prefer the ro water when
making coffee.....less bitter. yep brazil has walmarts even if some of
them have a different name, like maxxi atacado, big, nacional, and a
few other names including sams, and walmart names.
