Hey KID!
Hope your funny-teeth work better than mine.
och. they feel like i gots a volkswagen and a buick parked in my
mouth. ricola herbal lozenges help, also lots of clove oil. the first
days are the hardest they say, but really, does it ever get easier?
going back to dentist to see if he'll drill the housings down a bit
more, in hopes that they'll not rub the gums quite so wrong in so
many spots. talking's coming along... eating.... not so much...
i got a coupla friends who are getting the kinda infrastructure where
you have posts drilled into your jaw & the teeth snap into place,
permanent-like... i dunno what's worse, my jaw aches just thinkin
about it
any tips or tricks dear bro?
your mouth will adjust to the new rubbings inside the mouth, the
liquid oral clove stuff(same stuff they use to numb the gum before the
shots) that you can buy over the counter,(numbs your tongue as well)
will help with the iritation in the affected area. alot of people soak
false teeth every night, but i clean mine when necessay only. and
sleep with them in. i found on taking them out, my jaw will ache for
hours from being out of their normal position with my teeth in.
haven't had to reline mine since i got the new ones for five years
now. and still tight as ever. some people are not as lucky, some are.
my biggest beef was when the new top plate went back so far it gagged
me, so i had them remove 1/8 inch off the center back of the top
plate, took care of that. thought of those implants, and if i really
needed them, don't really think i do, and i could care less if others
don't like my falsies, but i do get alot of comments that my teeth
look good for my age(if they only knew) mike
