I've been thinking about how Osama had said his objective was to destroy the U.S. financially. Citizens, sure of the American resiliancy, scoffed at that. Even though a major financial center was hit on 9/11, we Americans would rise from the ashes to persevere!

Well, seven years later, our financial health is crippled and the prognosis is still not good. But it occurred to me that all he had to do was sit back and watch, while we destroyed it ourselves! Hot on the tail of fear comes greed, which overwhelmed personal integrity. The joke's on us!
