 i should of mentioned its not a moon bow around the moon, but the
usual day rainbow of colors as a semi-circle, but seen with stars for
its after sunset when dark, though the photo showed like it appears
dark outside the moon is near full so its light right after sunset
seems to be the cause being at the moons rising in east as rainbow
seemed to appear at sunset in west with barely any sunset light
happening, but with venus blazing like a huge comet also. today a
different photo is there, but maybe there is a way on that web site to
go back in history to see it, i haven't learned how yet, unless the
web address was present & i should of put that also when i posted
spaceweather, it also has many features including daily pics of the
sun at different light wave lengths-untra-violet, infrared, etc...,
seeing sunflares, sun spots, plus stories sent in by readers & lots
more. a real jewel that web sight is i think. peace kind

Another phenomena I have witnessed: Full moon setting over Pacific
Ocean Rainbow appearing over coastal range in Big Sur California.
Full spectrum disernable. but certain hues dominate for overall
silver appearance. Man I could imagine a bow formed from the light of
Mars a few years back On the new moon it cast shadows on the ground it
was so bright. thanks for the reminder to keep my eyes toward the
sky.
