AMEN!
Scatter those seeds, even if you don't imbibe!

tossing seeds out for a feral grow is about as irresponsible as one
can get!!! by doing so you are polluting people's gardens with pollen
which will totally ruin a sensi crop with most likely a low grade
cross for future generations. besides, it takes water at least every
3 days for a plant to get by...daily waterings for a plant to thrive.
save your 'green the world' antics for your own neighborhood. pulling
that *** around serious growers will not put you on their good side
Well, forgive me for obsessing on semantics
("serious" growers can go into the greenhouse cocoon for all I care)
That you call it "sensi" is interesting - sensi sounding a lot like
sensei (teacher).
The etymology's derived from "sin semilla" - lacking seeds - which
condition requires a female plant and no pollinating male plant - as I
understand it.
No time to divulge all of my intelligence (or even misunderstanding)
of this subject r now
but
interesting

i guess one could use your sensei in this context...someone just
learned a feral male can ruin a crop...all crops that are within the
area the winds can carry it for that matter! if you really want to
overgrow the government, which has been our plan from the start and
the reason for organizing ourselves into a small community, then
educate fellow and new gardeners to use responsible management and
share the clones! our med group in las vegas shares clones with
anyone in need and it's always top quailty and always female. it's
best to leave the breeding to the 'experts' (which i am not) so our
crops aren't contaminated with low yield, low potency and shitty
tasting flowers. tossing seeds out a window is a nice idea but
unfortunately does not work in the real world...it is a weed but needs
more care than most houseplants...and love! and sharing the love is
what it's all about...
Point taken.
Still, I see a clear distinction between the whole concept of a)
cloned, hi-qual product propagation, and b) the wild seed scattering
endeavors.
Different, but .... well, if not "equal", still valid, each in their
own way.
Jon Chapman was kind of a nut, sowing the apple seeds, starting large
orchards and buying/selling seedlings AND real estate.
In his day the apples were unpredictable - apples grown from seed
always are (the varieties you find in the market are all cloned)
Still, cider could be made from even pretty wretched apples. In cider
stills.
Cider went hard back in them days, (if not drunken right fresh) so
Johnny Appleseed's success, albeit indirectly, was in part due to his
purveying booze.
So anyhow, the orchardists figured out how to graft the trees to get a
specific varieties of apple.
So, they do tha cloning method too, to our topic crops.
Some random phantom feller, a couple years back called me over to his
suv, as I waited at the local trolley bus stop - he he said I see you
over by the power lines - you grow out there? huh I said and he
indicated two fine buds on the passenger seat. I've been growing this
clone for 12 years he said and handed me the lesser bud.
never seen him before or since.
watch out
