It appears that more then ever this year people are going to be voting
with their wallet in mind.

The current administration has totally blown it. A needless war that
is costing $! BILLION Dollars a week, a dollar that is worth about
half of what it was when Mr. Bush took office, the mortgage mess,
banks failing, stocks in the dumper.

morgage mess was caused by realitors and banks.

The trouble with all this is, is that it is us small guys that are
paying for it. 80% of the corporations in the US pay NO, ZERO, ZILCH
federal income tax.

WRONG!!

USA has *the highest corporation tax in the world*, 35%
the ones regestered overseas avoid the tax, dont do business with them.

In the USA, the top 1% of the rich pay 40% of all the taxes.

That is pure BULL***!!!
Individuals pay 80% of federal revenue by way of income tax and SS
payments.http://www.gpoaccess.gov/usbudget/fy99/guide/guide02.html#revenues
Corporations paid 11% of federal revenute ... in 1999 (see above link)
Its dropped to almost half that today. USA corporate tax is one of the
lowest
in the western world. Try visiting Sweden or Germany sometime.

I'd love to but can't afford the trip. <sigh>

**me niether.

Us small guys can't afford it any more.

If you listen to what McCain is offering, it is just 4 more years of
the same...people can't afford that.

NObama will increase your taxes to pay for his extensive welfare
programs
to keep inner city blacks, and democrats like John Kerry on the dole

If you listen to McCain he is pushing US imperialism. That is what
bankrupt
Rome.
Iraq alone will top one trillion of debt before its done.

"one trillion" whats? The Gummint keeps saying they are borrowing
dollars, but they no longer say what dollars are... Oh, and er, the
US has been imperialistic for decades.

*** "one trillion" green stamps with every ten gallons of Gas. But you
gotta put them in the little books and trade them in for a toster.

My gut feeling is that Obama is going to win and win big. People tend
to see him as a glimmer of hope at the end of a long dark tunnel that
they have gone through.

NObama has NO experience, a slick willy Jimmy Carter that will screw up
the economy good with tax, inflation at 17%

Obama will likely be blamed for the runaway inflation Dubya's Cabal
has orchestrated with mathematical precision, just like Carter was
blamed for the inflation that manifested itself during his
administration. In both cases the onus of regulating the value of
money was and is upon the Congress, not the Executive magistracy. I
for one did not apply for the 100% inflationary "Ecconomic Stymulous
Package" so don't blame me.

** don't blame me either, nobody asked me if it is OK to do that stuff!

Obama has same level of experience as JFK. He did pretty good.
If you are going to spout proganda, as least get your facts straight.

JFK ordered the issuance of "United States Notes" which did not
promise payment on a date certain instead of borrowing from the
Federal Reserve Banking Corporation, and the bankers killed him for
it...

Silver Coins went out of currency within a year of JFK's
assassination, and banks actually hired people to sit and take the old
Federal Reserve Notes out of currency because they read, in pertinent
part: "This note is legal tender for all debts public and private and
is redeemable in Lawful Money at the US Treasury or at any Federal
Reserve Bank." AHEM: It's impossible to convince people that fiat
paper is the same thing as lawful money as long as the fiat says right
on its face that there is a difference. Now the general population
has been re-educated and thinks legal tender = money.

Copies of "A CAVEAT AGAINST INJUSTICE or An Inquiry into the Evils of
a Fluctuating Medium of Exchange" [By Roger Sherman, circa 1752.]
repleat with footnotes that bring it up to date are available for the
asking.
