Global Warming?

The trivia potrion of my Weather Channel says that Dallas, TX recorded
its longest stretch of 100 degree days (42) in 1980. Doesn't that
contradict Al Gore? Shouldn't it be getting hotter?
How did the cartographers of old map the northern coast of Greenland
if it was forever part of the polar ice? How'd they even know it was
an island? Seems to me the polar ice must melt periodically in the
natural course of things or they could not have known. The Dark Side
keeps occult secrets so it can scare people, because when the brain is
in fight or flight mode cognition is overridden until the emergency is
past and whole populations can be herded. Even Columbus employed the
ol' "I know when the eclipse will happen and you don't." scam...
Global warming does not scare me. I think for myself. I asked my
grade school teacher why it looked like South America would fit up
against Africa like a jigsaw puzzle piece and she said, "It's just a
coincidence." All I could do was think: 'Wow, an 8,000 mile
coincidence.'
Bottom Line: I don't expect anyone to just take my word about this
Global Warming boogyman, but I do think people shouldn't blindly trust
in it either. Think for yourselves. :^)
Peace, Sanity
