the state of Texas cost the Texas taxpayers those millions and the
Texas taxpayers may incur a great deal more cost if/when those "cult"
member takes the state of Texas to court and sues over violation of
their civil rights. each individual member of that fringe religion
has rights which were ignored by the state of Texas. the right of
Habeous Corpus is still in effect in common law and since the state of
Texas has been unable to produce the person who is made the charge
against the FLDS sect the state of Texas has put it's own ass in a
sling, a sling that the Texas taxpayer could be paying for for a very
long time.
Um, them. The topic cult of this discussion. Hello?
http://www.rickross.com/reference/polygamy/polygamy5.html
the word "cult" does not frighten me. all religions are "cults" by
dictionary definition. and neither should the applied epitaph of
"cult" be reason enough to violate the civil rights of people who
belong to "cults".
