Did I say ? it's plug and play into your usb port (some form of
highspeed int.conn. is necessary) I could not get (they did not have)
an area code in my area but got near 50mi so my locals cannot call me
as a local call.
I'll update as I become more familiar with the ins and outs.
Went to the web site, check the FAQ's. No,dosen't work with my
satellite broadband. At least they tell you so up-front. Vonage put me
thru 2 months of hell tweeking the settings before they admitted it
wasn't compatable. Still haven't got my promised refund. Sounds like
Magic jack is a good deal for those it works for.
It's taking up a lot of my time working through audio glitches and I
still haven't got voicemail. (they are upgrading)- Hide quoted text -

The voicemail is the one thing that did work with Vonage. It came thru
as a regular email, then you would click on an attachment that was an
audio file voice message , very clear.
