I started this 'new' thread because I felt that these thoughts
deserved more airing without the blef which seems to go with 'the
other'. \w/

Well, scientists who study such things tell us that the human brain
uses about 12 watts of power. Asleep or awake, we use the same
amount.
That's about half the wattage of the light bulb in your refrigerator.
So basically, we're all dim bulbs.

So there we all are, dim bulbs in an egg carton, refrigerated. And
perhaps one or two shine a bit brighter, Archimedes, McKenna or
Einstein, though he would disagree. Einstein said he did no better
with a problem in his head than anyone else; he was just stuck with a
problem longer.


So what would be the purpose of one dim bulb attempting to
distinguish
himself from other dim bulbs by pointing out their inferiority? If
one :is: a brighter bulb, one is only more at risk of being plucked
out by the giant fingers that come down from above, or and worse in
my
opinion, being ostracized by one's fellow carton companions. For
obnoxious dim bulbs, especially in so close a proximity, make dismal
companions.


That said, there is some value in humorous companions. And to that
end
I fancy an argument 'round Max and Doug's house.


I don't have to move my lips for any words over two syllables, I
don't
even have to move my arse. Best of all I don't have to expend energy
on a position that means a tinker's damn. Unless someone wants to
talk
DIEBOLD.
