Yes, John, as you observed, there are people in the Rainbow Family who are
not part of A Camp who summon the LEO's against A Camp. That's not
unreasonable when A Campers steal everything from vehicles to musician's
instruments to beating people bloody. That's consistent with the
long-standing consensus that a Rainbow Gathering shall not be used as a
sanctuary for criminals.

A Camp is nothing but constant problems! they are predators who prey
on family. nothing else! I have known several people in past
gatherings who have been beaten, robbed, and some even raped in A
Camp! this year Acampers crossed the line...AGAIN! on the morning of
the 4th we were sitting on the beach peacefully meditating for peace
when 3 a campers came staggering into the creek with a half-gallon of
vodka. being all belligerant, drunk and extremely disrespectful of
people trying to pray to their creator for peace. one drunk was
getting in people's faces, demanding to see sister's tits, and then he
walked into the creek in front of everybody took out his *** and
pissed in the creek!
then to make maters worse, they beat up this one sister next to
Montana Mud! (real brave "family" huh?)
I went with about 30-40 other family to A Camp to see that this
brother was escorted out or something. A camp first denied it was an a
camper who did this, but as we were back out on the road, this guy was
found and a riot almost started when family tried to remove him and
duct tape him. (I believe duct taping wasn't the answer) eventually
another A camper punched him in the face and drug him back into the
woods.
for one I am getting tired of Acamp trying to justify violence as an
excuse for violence to the family or even acting as a "filter"
BULL*** ACAMP is nothing but predators! using alcohol as an excuse
for violent behavior! I am sick and tired of my family being
victimized by these predators! but what is the solutyion to violence
without using violence in return? I am at a loss here. personally i
don't "do" Acamp. i wont even go near it! but when they bring their
alcohol into my church, my sanctuary i get pissed! remember the keg at
main circle last year? then the vodka this year? i dont care who's
memory they use as an excuse(Luke) to bring that poison into the
church this *** has to STOP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
what will it take for them to get the message? any ideas?

If and when I drink, like many other brothers/sisters I know, drink in
Peace, and away from anyone who'd care. I personally can't stand the
violence. I might suggest as I have in the past to try what rainbow's
in other countries do: have gatherings on private land. The Vision I
see is leaving communities that each gathering happens on- not
suggesting the 4th for starters, but in between. -w-
