Cycles of 6. The Flood once again is upon the Earth as it once was
with the first covenant between God and Mankind. This is the last
call
for humanity to get it To-gether - and correct, perfect, connect
itself with the Creator.
A very hard rain is gonna fall.
Yeah, the thing is... no more big, big flood...
also, not by the hands of Creator.
Purification by Fire, caused by STORM, by the hands of Man.
Jubilees by Sevens
well gee... if we're putting methods of mass extinction into "God's"
suggestion box i'd like to suggest a worldwide pandemic that wipes out
most of the human population. floods and fires are more destructive
than need be if cleansing the Earth of human sin is the point of the
exercise. why kill off the beautiful and innocent other species on
the Planet just because humans are arrogantly filthy and out of touch
with Nature when a plague affecting humans only would surfice?- Hide

Hey, did you see any of the hotdog eating contest after American Idol?
you wont be eating any chicken after the bird flu pandemic wipes out all
chickens and eggs, then you have massive starvation in third world countries
and the USA, no more KFC,- Hide quoted text -

there ya go. how typical of humans to need for others, totaly
unrelated to them, to suffer and die out, for human edification. even
when being punished by "God" humans have to take other species down
with em. chickens must go extinct so that humans can get a clue.
egotists to the bitter end. somehow birth control and self control
seems like a better idea for all involved. humans employing self
control?! void the "be fruitful and over populate" edict?! yeah
right. die birds die!- Hide quoted text -

Humans are part of nature. Do you think nature yould be better off
without humans?
The same set of cosmic miracles (the development of a planetary life
support system)
resulted simultanously in humans and nature. Without humans who would
think about
the mystery of life and appreciate the sacredness and beauty of
nature? Maybe in the end
everything is temporary, humans and nature, but they are not seperate
categories.- Hide quoted text -

oops! i got to thinking that maybe i hurt your feelings again when i
sounded irritated about the "oh well, just temporary anyway"
philosophy thing. yeah i get annoyed when folks say that when
discussing the mass extinction of the beloved creature of my beloved
planet but my annoyance is not with you personally, stella. i get
irritated with the hopeless helplessness that philosophy causes me to
feel. not sure if i did hurt your feelings again but i wanted to head
off any misunderstanding.- Hide quoted text -

I think as environmentalist I once held a similar view, that nature
would
be better off without humans. It is a kind of species suicidal
ideation
common among many good intentioned environmentalists. I disagree
with that view for several reasons. One is it undermines our efforts
to
convince people to do better. Most people who may be open to
installing
some solar pannels and more bike riding also would like to think about
leaving the earth nice for their grandchildren. Radical dreddies
talking
spiking trees and eliminating the humans just scare them away from
even bothering to use a few more flouresent bulbs for fear of
identifying
with those radical environmental terrorists.
Another reason is that everything in nature is interconnected. That
includes
humans. That includes chiggers. That is based on the humble notion
that
we don't really know how it all fits into the bigger picture that our
small monkey
minds can't grasp. That is why we can't go around eliminating
useless and or
bothersom life forms or species, even ours.
The last reason is that consciousness is, in my view, infinately
valuable to
the divine being, whatever you want to call that, God, Goddess, Great
spirit
and this will go to great lengths to create an environment where it
can be
cultivated. All the bad and good of nature is in humans and all the
bad and
good of humans is in nature. Nature can be brutal, it's not all
flowers and
singing birds. It is predators and pray. But the predator may be
just killing
to nurture their babies.
