Life is like a guitar.
Easy to get out of tune and lose the rhythm
Adjustments must be made
to the bridge and neck
that can get out of alignment.
Strings get flabby
hot, cold and tired
and sometimes they just
snap!
Keep an ear open when
you sound brassy
or flat
could be a sharp edge
a fret
just sand lightly and blow
or uproot and replace
and the buzz will quiet
down
Always tune your guitar
it's very important to be in synch
with others
though at times you may
wish to play solos alone
in the wilderness to the
rhythms of the wind
remember the elements
of earth, water, fire, air
and metal
which are within you
and within a guitar
and every thing under
the sun.
Keep a clean machine
keep it safe
covered and dry.
If it's broken - fix it
If it's fixed - bless it
As long as you have a guitar
you're never really alone
and a song brings a crowd
anyway
So play.
Play.
Play!
I play keyboards, and the ones I have NEVER go out of tune unless I
program them to do so. Nice post though. -w-- Hide quoted text -

I know a flamenco guitarist that will stop in the middle of a
performance to play a chinese number called: "Too-ning."- Hide quoted text -

Cool. I can make a pure sine wave. In fact, I can have mutiple sine
waves but they still sound like one. -w-
Very cool. What's the frequency, Woodstock?

A440 Ever read a rosecrucians keyboard map? I have one somewhere
burried in my boxes of papers I hope to find one day. Thing about sine
waves, if you detune one of them when you have more than one, even by
one cent, it causes an audible ripple, and by a few more cents, you
get a chorus effect. That's just basic sound synthesis- it gets WAY
complex when mixing various waves such as a square wave, saw tooth,
triangle etc. -w-
yeah - such is the frequency variation, sound or light - one notch up
or down could translate into a line or a spiral. Fun times.
Did ya ever see this guy? http://www.quantumbalancing.com/sound_healing_project.htm
