Re: Of Hyjinx and Hyjacks, Manipulations

I can imagine it must be hard for you and others to try to sort out the BS. I am talking directly to these folks on the phone and I can't sort it out very well so how anyone else can is beyond me.

The best I can sort out is that the folks on the land have given up on trying to sort it out themselves and are just going with the flow that there are many interests and hence many council sites. There are three folks should know about.

So here is my best guess from what I know.

Today and perhaps the next day or two folks are at Barkshed Campgrounds
24 miles northwest of Mountain View on highway 14-

People are starting to leave there now to check out other spots.

There is a large goroup - scouts and holding camp curently at Cartney Access. People will be there to look at new sites from Monday on for sure and probably before. It will be an active pre-council and scouting if not an actual council.

Directions are:
The site Called Cartney Access and is near Buffalo Cuty (114) It
is along the Buffalo River from Cartney Access to Buffalo City.

From Mountain Home Arkansas take 201 south 11 miles, turn right on
341 (Push Mountain road) and cross over Sheids bridge.
Go 7 miles until Cartney White river access sign and Cartney store, turn right.
Drive until you cross a small creek and at 2 miles on the left, trail
head. Parking for this area is down the road 1/2 mile..

If there is any confusion follow the road to main White river channel.

Cell Phones work at the White River Access (Verizon) near site.

From a the 15th on the Nimrod (great name ;) ) location may be where folks move to for final decision, but since it is 3 1/2 hours away from Carney and folks are pretty dug into Carney that council may not happen at Nimrod. We won't know till we get closer to then.

I also want to stress that non of the actual gathering sites that I know of being considered are any of these locations.

Hey Now!,

I have spent most of the morning doing damage control and editing on
sites. I was about to send information out on the Tribal Mailer as to
the newest Nimrod location when I came across your post here. As
someone who is trying my best to get accurrate information out to the
folks who are asking I find it almost impossible to sort the details
from the bull*** expecially when the scouts in the field keep
changing dates, locations and other details. So I guess what I am
going to ask here is that the scouts, on the land get together, smoke
a bowl and then flip a coin in the interest of getting on with the
process. Just simply pick a site and stay true to form for just a
moment in time.

There are several good locations in Arkansas to hold a counsel at. I
thought the Cartney site would be good as there is ample parking,
springs and some support in the area. Likewise what you posted about a
good teaching location is valid. As to the creek and high water, the
ford at Cartney is solid rock based and can be traversed or folks can
wait for the water to receed if it where to rain heavily.

I too am tired of fielding calls and 100's of emails about the actual
Spring Counsel site. I am going to call Tom and others as he is
actually on the land in that area and try to sort this out. If these
two locations keep getting kicked around it will cost family that is
travelling a hunk of coin in gas to get back and forth and really,
that aint cool. UNTIL these folks figure it out there will be a
disclaimer added to the website in BOLD RED LETTERS .......... Please,
for the sake of unity and concern for the family lets get this dog and
pony show on the road and happening ..... SOON!
