attempt at rational dialog and any answer you don't agree with will
receive responses like,

People that believe that it's ok for other people to make deals and
compromises with duh gummint concerning peaceable assemblies
representing the rest of the people.

you saying that you might wake up or are you saying other people might
wake up and agree with you?

I woke up a long time ago. I've seen other's wake up too. It's not
about wether someone agrees with "me".

And there you have it. What might begin as a discussion of the permit
will rapidly become a discussion of who's a dupe or who wants to just
party. Quite frankly I think I'm smarter than you, better educated
than you, the breadth and depth of my knowledge exceeds your's, I've
read and studied more extensively than you, I party less than you,
I'm more serious and dedicated to my spiritual path than you are to
your's, but I am no more interested in this kind of high brow ***
waving than I am in bill's low brow *** waving. So don't expect me to
pretend you're interested in a serious or reasoned dialog on this
issue when the height of your "reasoning" consists of calling those
who disagree with you dupes and your best "rational" argument is
telling then to wake up. Do you really not get it? Do you seriously
not understand why people of good sense don't want to discuss this
issue with you or your allies?

(laughing) Here on agr not getting support is just as likely to mean
people agree with you as not. Most people only post when they
disagree. At any rate I could care less who agrees with me.

to talk about it, that's fine with me. I could care less. By the way,
I wasn't "telling people to wake up" but rather asked a question
designed to inspire some thought.

Like you and your allies have always asked loaded questions to
"inspire thought." But as soon as the thought deviates from your way
of thinking its, "you're all dupes" and "you need to wake up." Or any
other number of insults and slander. Ever wonder why some of the
wisest most articulate people on this forum have stopped posting on
permit threads? Oh I'm sure you have theories, you all have posted
some of them, like they can't face facts, or they thing its all good,
or they don't care about liberty or freedom, or they're all dupes that
need to wake up. Of course if no one responds one of your buddies is
likely to post that this just shows that the pro permit bunch have
finally realized they have no case and withdrawn. Another lie and
slander, attaching the pro permit label on anyone who disagrees with
you/them. I thought about ignoring your question but instead choose to
tell you once again why I and I believe others don't respond.

Sure you do, since you've woken up and got the truth. Unlike the poor
deluded dupes and sheep who don't agree with you. I think often those
you call dupes are more aware and clear then you. We could simply go
back and forth calling each other dupes and hectoring each other to
wake up. That's what you and your allies seem to want to do. That's
the level of reason you seem to want to engage in. I'm not interested
and I'm letting you know why. Truth is there's nothing more to say. I
tired of the slanders and lies that masquerade as reasoned debate and
you all ignore any cogent arguments anyway.


You may want to look on the email
side and see that similar discussions are taking place without a word
from me.

I read it and I almost never see the type of psuedo dialogs there that
occur here. I don't think its similar at all.

My main point is
that I don't anymore believe there is a possibility of rational dialog
on this issue. I have never seen it. I don't believe you or your
