The one that works the best, and is free, is CCleaner. They will take
donations, but the product is very good. It does more than just clean
registry of old and useless entries, it will also clean up program files so
they work better. I use it on all the 'puters I'm responsible for, and
have never had a problem with it.

Ad-Aware will help get rid of some spyware, but is NOT a registry cleaner
and will NOT help your 'puter run better, other than to get rid of trackers
and some other stuff. You DO need Ad-Aware, but not for this use.
