IMHO the biggest threat to the Middle East is not Iran, but a nuclear
Israel. Having Iran possess nukes will keep things similar to what
went on during the Cold War - Mutual Assured Destruction. Look at
India-Pakistan for an example of how two countries can keep the peace

That is ..... unless you want to continue having Israel use the U.S.
as a "proxy nation" to bully other countries in the region. If so,
then it's war with Iran, Syria, Pakistan... Saudi Arabia..... until

Israel has had nukes since 1970.
Saudi Arabia is 100% on our side, and they own us, by oil, they pay us to
fight the Iraqis.
We have paid off Pakistan.
India has about 14 nuke plants running at full steam.
poor Afghanistan, we dropped all our old WWII bombs there on their rocks,
poorest country on earth, they have nothing else, dirt, that is it, except
goats and some really nice herb plants industry needed over here.
