This morning there was 7 inches out back. This afternoon there was 10
inches. It only stopped snowing in the past hour or two.

i suspect that sometime tomorrow, the snow shovel is going to break. It
has been on its last 'leg' for a while. But that is assuming i can find
it. It may be under a drift right now.

The old trick of leaving the snow shovel on the front porch after the
first snow of the winter, to prevent future snow storms, has failed
miserably this year :-)
